KLab Revives Upcoming JoJo's Bizarre Adventure Game With New Partner

KLab Inc. has revealed an update on their upcoming mobile game based on the popular manga series, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Initially announced in early 2020, the project experienced delays due to issues with the original development partner. Now, KLab has partnered with Wanda Cinemas Games of Beijing to revive the project.

After overcoming initial development hurdles, the game is back on track for a global launch (excluding Japan) in 2026. Wanda Cinemas Games boasts a strong portfolio of successful mobile titles, including Hoolai Three Kingdoms Mobile Game, Calabash Brothers, Fortress Mobile Game, Saint Seiya: Legend of Justice, Tensura: King of Monsters, and The Legend of Qin.

The JoJo's universe blends reality with surreal supernatural elements and dramatic battles. Storylines range from confronting ancient vampire lords to unraveling complex interdimensional mysteries.

This isn't the franchise's first foray into gaming; a Super Famicom RPG debuted in 1993, followed by various titles across different platforms. Popular Android games include JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Stardust Shooters (2014), JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Records (2017), and JoJo's Pitter Patter Pop! (2018).
