The Gift with Purchase sets offered are quite impressive on their own. The first is Captain Jack Sparrow’s Compass (set #5009609), a $19.99 value that is only available as a bonus with the purchase of the LEGO Jack Sparrow’s Pirate Ship until September 18.

The second available GWP is the SEGA Genesis Controller, set #40769 (view at LEGO Store). Also valued at $19.99, this bonus is available until September 17 with purchases of $130 or more. Therefore, to secure both free sets with your Pirate Ship purchase, you'll need to complete your order before September 17.

The ship itself is a massive, dark, and imposing model standing over two feet tall, instantly recognizable from the Pirates of the Caribbean films. It includes eight minifigures: Captain Jack Sparrow, Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, Hector Barbossa, Gibbs, Cotton, Anamaria, and last but certainly not least, Marty.

This detailed set features a fully furnished captain's quarters below deck, authentically tattered sails, and a detachable rowboat. It can be displayed in its entirety on the included stand, or you can remove the lower hull section to create the illusion of the ship sailing through water. The ship's wheel turns the rudder, just like the real thing, and there are dials to deploy the cannons on both sides.
