The White Wolf is making his final stand. Production for *The Witcher* Season 5 is now in motion, and fresh set photos of Liam Hemsworth as the iconic Geralt of Rivia have surfaced online. These images, reportedly leaked from filming, also feature several new and returning characters who will play key roles in the upcoming fifth and final season.

The exclusive photos — shared by the fan-favorite *Witcher* news hub Redanian Intelligence — showcase Hemsworth fully immersed in the role. The Australian actor is seen sporting Geralt’s signature long blonde hair and battle-ready attire. Also pictured are familiar faces such as Meng’er Zhang reprising her role as Milva and Joey Batey returning as Jaskier, both of whom were prominent during Henry Cavill’s tenure as the Witcher.

Hemsworth officially stepped into the role back in October 2022, taking over from Cavill starting with Season 4 and continuing through to the series finale in Season 5. His casting was met with excitement and curiosity from fans eager to see how he would interpret the legendary monster hunter.

In addition to Hemsworth’s Geralt, the set photos revealed glimpses of newly introduced characters set to appear in Season 4 and beyond. Among them is veteran actor Laurence Fishburne — known for his recent turn in *Morbius* — portraying the enigmatic Emiel Reigs. His presence hints at deeper political intrigue and moral complexity that could shape the final chapters of the series.

Fans analyzing the photos speculate that Season 5 may draw inspiration from Andrzej Sapkowski’s novel *Tower of the Swallow*, where Geralt encounters beekeepers who lead him toward a mysterious druid sect. However, since Season 4 has yet to air, much about the narrative arc remains uncertain. There's still plenty of storytelling ground to cover before all the pieces fall into place.

Cavill isn’t the only cast member whose departure led to a recast. Kim Bodnia, who portrayed Vesemir — Geralt’s father figure and mentor — will not be returning for Season 4 due to scheduling conflicts. Netflix has yet to reveal who will step into the role, and no official release date for Season 4 has been announced either. Fans remain patient but eager for more updates as the saga draws to its conclusion.
