Lies of P's captivating world expands with a prequel DLC: Overture.

Revealed during Sony's State of Play 2025 showcase, Lies of P: Overture will launch Summer 2025 on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms. A gameplay trailer is available below.

Building upon the critically acclaimed, Bloodborne-esque action RPG, Lies of P (IGN awarded it an 8/10), Overture delves into the origins of the Puppet Frenzy. The trailer showcases fresh environments, formidable new bosses, and hints at a mysterious guide.

Lies of P: Overture – Key Details

Overture serves as a dramatic prequel, transporting players to Krat, a city steeped in Belle Époque charm, on the precipice of catastrophic events. Players assume the role of Geppetto's puppet, guided by a Legendary Stalker, unraveling untold stories and chilling secrets.

Setting & Story:

The game plunges players into Krat's final days of splendor, just before the Puppet Frenzy. As Geppetto's creation, you'll explore the city and its surroundings, uncovering hidden narratives and facing epic battles that impact the Lies of P timeline. Your choices will resonate through both past and present, revealing hidden truths and shaping the consequences.

Round8 Studio's game director, Jiwon Choi, stated, "We knew that the end of Lies of P was just the beginning...Lies of P: Overture allows us to fully explore the past and present of our universe."

Publisher Neowiz previously hinted at this DLC and confirmed plans for a sequel. The original Lies of P achieved remarkable success, selling over one million copies in under a month after its September 18, 2023 release across multiple platforms.
