What Defines MageTrain?

MageTrain blends Snake mechanics with auto-battlers and roguelike elements. You guide a chain of heroes trailing behind you, each attacking independently as you navigate an arena.

Your role involves strategically positioning heroes to dodge enemies and obstacles. The leader of the line and supporting heroes wield unique abilities based on their placement.

At launch, MageTrain offers nine heroes, including one who hurls birds, each with distinct skills depending on their role in the formation.

Explore eight unique dungeons, confront 28 enemy types, and unlock 30 skills to strengthen your team. Collect gold and power-ups to enhance your journey.

With its roguelike design, every run offers fresh challenges through branching paths and upgrade choices, testing your survival skills.

Similar to Slay the Spire or FTL, there are no set levels or save points. Colliding with hazards or succumbing to enemies means restarting from scratch.
