To kick off the Master Schindel’s Toys quest, you need to be engaged in the Into the Underworld main mission. Your objective here is to find an informant named Goatskin. As part of your investigation, visit the bathhouse and speak with the Bathhouse Madam first, followed by a conversation with Adam. He will inform you that Goatskin is responsible for stealing items from Master Schindel.

Next, you'll need to locate Goatskin. He's quite elusive, so you'll need to coax him out. You have two options: speak with Lousy Mary or follow Udo. I recommend speaking with Udo, a customer who appears on the first floor of the bathhouse in the evening. After telling him to go home, discreetly follow him. Goatskin will attempt to rob him in an alley, providing you with the perfect opportunity to confront him.

From Goatskin, you can try to obtain more information about Liechtenstein and also acquire a map. If you fail the skill check, you'll need to bribe him. He will direct you to the Kuttenberg gallows on the southeastern side of the city, where you can find the Map of Kuttenberg Underground on a hanging corpse.

After retrieving the map, use it to navigate the underground area, which is notoriously easy to get lost in.

How to Find the Stolen Items in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2

To quickly recover the stolen items and complete the Master Schindel’s Toys quest, head to the entrance on the northern side of the open area. Descend the ladder to enter the Kuttenberg Underground zone. Don't forget to light your torch; it's pitch-black down there.

Navigate by consistently making left turns until you reach a dead end with a barrel. You'll need to jump down to a lower area at some point. Continue taking left turns at each junction until you find Goatskin’s hidden stash. Inside the barrel, you'll find a book and an astrolabe.

With the stolen items in hand, return to the surface using the same path. Master Schindel can usually be found on the northeastern side of the city during the day. Hand over the items to complete the quest. Initially, he might seem a bit irritable, but once you return his possessions, he'll warm up. Continue the conversation, and he'll explain the astrolabe and the workings of the planets.
