Modders have restored content cut from Bloodborne and made it work on PC

The Bloodborne Magnum Opus mod, now available for PC gamers, impressively reinstates all cut content from the original game, even allowing for multiple boss encounters simultaneously. Despite some texture and animation glitches, enemies remain functional.

Magnum Opus significantly alters the Bloodborne experience, reintroducing weapons, armor sets, and repositioning enemies. The accompanying video showcases several of these new boss fights.

While a PC release was nearly a reality last August – hinted at by Hidetaka Miyazaki himself – no official announcement has been made. This leaves players resorting to workarounds and emulators.

The emergence of a functional PS4 emulator has been a game-changer. Modders rapidly accessed the character editor, though initial gameplay proved impossible. That hurdle has now been cleared. While online videos demonstrate Bloodborne running on PC, they highlight the ongoing imperfections.
