Monster Hunter Now's Season 5: The Blossoming Blade, launching March 6th, 2025, promises exciting new content. Before the season begins, however, players can encounter the Chatacabra on February 28th, marking its debut ahead of its appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds. Season 5 will also introduce Glavenus and Arzuros to the hunt.

Weapon balance adjustments aim to enhance the viability and enjoyment of all weapon types. The Sword & Shield receives a buff, improving its effectiveness against breakable parts like tails. The Perfect Rush Combo (SP) will reward precise timing with amplified performance and more satisfying combos. The Guard skill also receives a significant upgrade; higher skill levels will now noticeably reduce damage taken while blocking. Further balance tweaks will be detailed in the full patch notes on March 6th.

Season 5 addresses inventory management concerns with the introduction of an Item Box Expansion as a Supply Item, providing an additional 250 inventory slots.

A new feature celebrating Monster Hunter Now's 1.5-Year Anniversary arrives March 17th, allowing players to exchange special materials earned from hunts and events for valuable rewards such as Item Box Expansions, Weapon Refining Parts, Armor Refining Parts, and Wyvern Gem Shards.
