Monster Hunter Now's Season 4: A Snowy Adventure Awaits!

Niantic has unleashed Season 4 of Monster Hunter Now, transporting players to a breathtaking winter wonderland. Prepare for icy winds, deep snowdrifts, and thrilling encounters with a host of new monsters!

What's New in Season 4?

This season introduces the frigid tundra habitat. Get ready to face off against Lagombi, Volvidon, Somnacanth, and the fearsome Tigrex, all making their debut. Barioth, along with smaller monsters like Wulg and Cortos, also appear. Tigrex will be a formidable opponent in Hunt-a-thons and may even surprise you in the field. Unlock these creatures by completing urgent quests within Season 4's story chapters. Finish the prologue to gain access to the snowy tundra.

A powerful new weapon joins the hunt: the Switch Axe. This versatile weapon offers the best of both worlds. Use Axe Mode for powerful, sweeping attacks, then seamlessly transition to Sword Mode for devastating close-quarters combat. Unlock the Switch Gauge by completing the pre-season story in Chapter 2.

Season 4 also introduces Palico companions! Customize your furry friend's fur color, facial features, and even give it a unique name. AR functionality lets you take your Palico into the real world for some memorable photos.

Add a touch of camaraderie to your hunts with Friend Cheering. Send your friends a cheer to provide them with a temporary health boost for the day. Note that there's a limit to the amount of health you can receive from cheers.
