Getting Frenzy Shards in Monster Hunter Wilds

Frenzy Shards are obtained by defeating Frenzied monsters encountered in High Rank missions. These infected creatures, while visually similar to their standard counterparts, are significantly more aggressive and deal substantially more damage. Don't underestimate them!

Successfully hunting or capturing a Frenzied monster will reward you with Frenzy Shards, crucial components for forging powerful new weapons and armor.

Frenzy Crystals, another essential crafting material, are uniquely acquired from Gore Magala. By wounding Gore Magala and destroying those wounds, you have a chance to obtain a Frenzy Crystal.

You'll gain access to Gore Magala through High Rank quests, specifically unlocking the optional quest "Misty Depths".
