The second Open Beta Test will run in two sessions: February 6th-9th and February 13th-16th. It will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. This beta includes new content, such as the addition of Gypceros, a familiar foe from the series.

Character data from the first beta can be carried over and transferred to the full game. However, game progress will not be saved. Beta participants receive rewards: a Stuffed Felyne Teddy weapon charm, and a special bonus item pack for the full game.

"Many players missed the first beta, or wanted a second chance," Tsujimoto explained. "The team is working hard to finalize the full game." While a pre-launch community update detailed upcoming improvements, these changes won't be included in this beta.

Monster Hunter Wilds launches on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S on February 28th, 2025. Happy hunting!
