Monster Hunter Wilds Update 1 Launches Early April, Introduces Endgame Hub
Capcom has unveiled the first details of Monster Hunter Wilds' initial major patch, set to launch in early April. Following the game's massive debut, Capcom shared insights on Title Update 1 via a Steam post. The company emphasized that the patch, arriving just over a month post-launch, "will give hunters ample time to gear up for the new content and challenges that lie ahead."
Title Update 1 introduces a heightened level of difficulty, urging players to "Prepare your gear, and resolve, hunters!" Capcom announced. "TU1 will introduce a monster of formidable strength, surpassing even Tempered levels!" Additionally, a new challenging monster will join the fray with this update.
A notable feature of Title Update 1 is the addition of an endgame social hub. "A new place to meet, communicate, enjoy meals together, and more with fellow hunters will be added to Monster Hunter Wilds in TU1!" Capcom stated. This area will be accessible to players who have completed the main storyline, encouraging them to continue their hunting journey and prepare for what's to come.
The announcement of this new gathering spot has elicited mixed reactions from the community. While some players are excited about the addition, others question its absence at the game's launch. This new area resembles the Gathering Hubs from previous Monster Hunter titles, though Capcom has opted not to use that term here. Despite the ability for other players to visit your camp, Monster Hunter Wilds currently lacks a dedicated social hub, so this new feature is anticipated to address that gap.
Capcom has released several images to give players a glimpse of this new gathering place:

In response to 'mixed' Steam user reviews, Capcom has also released a troubleshooting guide for Monster Hunter Wilds. Additionally, our ongoing Monster Hunter Wilds walkthrough, a multiplayer guide to help you play with friends, and instructions on transferring your character from the open beta are available.
IGN's review of Monster Hunter Wilds awarded it an 8/10, stating, "Monster Hunter Wilds continues to refine the series in intelligent ways, delivering highly enjoyable battles while somewhat lacking in real challenge."
