  • Experience concentrated spawns of specific monster types in designated areas
  • Cooperate with fellow hunters to eliminate targets and earn special rewards

Attention Monster Hunter Now players: Niantic has responded to calls for greater challenges with their upcoming Monster Outbreak event. Running from April 26th to 27th, this limited-time test will challenge even veteran hunters with unprecedented monster encounters.

Currently in beta testing, this feature allows players to experience massive monster hordes appearing simultaneously in specific locations. You'll need to be physically present and form hunting parties (solo play won't cut it) to confront these overwhelming numbers.

The goal? Hunt at least 100 monsters collectively. Registration grants participants an exclusive achievement medal, while successful Outbreak completions award valuable monster materials.

The inaugural Outbreak will feature eight-star Black Diablos encounters exclusively throughout the event duration. This new gameplay mechanic offers both variety and extended difficulty for veteran hunters seeking fresh challenges.

Players are encouraged to share feedback through official channels as Niantic evaluates whether to implement Monster Outbreaks permanently. Your input could shape future game updates.
