1. Use Psylocke to play Moonstone ahead of schedule.
2. Place Onslaught, Mystique, and Iron Man in her lane.
3. In the final turn, distribute Power across all lanes using The Living Tribunal.

Psylocke and Sera reduce costs, enabling earlier plays of key cards. Magik extends the game, allowing Onslaught and The Living Tribunal to shine. Captain America and Iron Lad serve as backups if key cards aren’t drawn in time.

Many predicted the Moonstone-Onslaught-Tribunal combo would dominate the metagame post-release, with some seeing it as her ideal build. Yet, few foresaw Super Skrull emerging as her primary counter.

Strategies to Counter Moonstone

Since her debut, players have increasingly included Super Skrull to counter Moonstone decks effectively. Enchantress, Rogue, and Echo also neutralize her, amplifying her fragility.

Moonstone’s key limitation is her dependence on her lane’s cards. Without protection from cards like Invisible Woman, opponents can disrupt her lane with Enchantress, Echo, or Rogue. Alternatively, Super Skrull in another lane can nullify her strategy entirely.
