Instead, Conan the Barbarian takes center stage, with a gameplay trailer released today, preceding his arrival next week for premium edition owners.

Conan embodies the classic hulking brawler archetype. His attacks appear devastating, though likely at the cost of speed and agility. His sword's extended reach might compensate for this, but matchups against characters like General Shao, Omni-Man, and Homelander will be intriguing to witness.

While visually reminiscent of Arnold Schwarzenegger, Conan's fatality lacks the spectacular flair of some MK1 counterparts. A simple acid-drowning finish may disappoint some, but gameplay is paramount, and Conan promises a unique and potentially enjoyable fighting style.
