NBA 2K25 Update 4.0: Season 4 Prep and Gameplay Overhaul

NBA 2K25's latest major update paves the way for Season 4 (launching January 10th) with significant improvements across gameplay, visuals, and various game modes. This patch addresses numerous bugs, enhances realism, and refines the overall player experience.

Key improvements include updated player likenesses (featuring Stephen Curry and Joel Embiid), court adjustments (including the Los Angeles Clippers court and Emirates NBA Cup court), and uniform updates reflecting current sponsor patches. The update also tackles stability issues across MyCAREER, MyTEAM, and MyNBA modes.

Gameplay Enhancements in Patch 4.0:

This update focuses on boosting realism and player control. "Light Pressure" shot defense is now categorized into Weak, Moderate, and Strong, offering more nuanced shot feedback. Ball physics have been tweaked to reduce excessively long rebounds. Defensive mechanics have been adjusted to prevent unfair disruptions of skill dunks, and the Offensive 3 Seconds rule is now enforced in 1v1 modes. Performance and stability enhancements have also been implemented for City and Pro-Am modes.

• Fixed an issue preventing the Maximum Overdrive badge slot from unlocking.
• Resolved an issue causing dynamically scheduled NBA Cup games to be skipped during simulation.

MyTEAM:

• Fixed a rare issue preventing Breakout games from being counted.
• Updated Breakout mini-game award icon visuals.
• Fixed an issue preventing Favorite Plays from being saved.
