This tactical turn-based strategy game combines elements of extraction looting, creating an experience akin to "XCOM meets Hunt: Showdown with a dash of Cthulhu." Set in an alternate 19th-century America, the narrative of Nightmare Frontier begins shortly after a mysterious event that reshaped the world. The boundary between reality and a terrifying unknown has blurred, leaving survivors to unravel the enigma behind the so-called Nightmare. The streets are now haunted by monstrous beings known as Dreadweavers, which have emerged from the dark abysses of a terror dimension. These creatures are the physical manifestations of humanity's deepest fears. Players will embody the ringleader, who, despite the overwhelming horror, sees a glimmer of survival. Leading a group of scavengers, players will venture deep into the city, risking everything in pursuit of valuable loot.
