Switch 2 Launch Date Set in Nintendo Direct
The Nintendo Switch 2 finally has an official release date: June 5, 2025.
Nintendo also revealed the Switch 2's starting price today at $449.99.

Nintendo Switch 2 Dock

Nintendo Switch 2 AC Adapter

The Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle will retail for $499.99 in the US, featuring both the console and a digital download code for Mario Kart World available from launch day on June 5.
Mario Kart World alone will cost $79.99, marking a $10 increase over Nintendo's highest-priced Switch title.
"The Nintendo Switch 2 represents the evolution of hybrid gaming, building on eight years of innovation since the original Switch," said Nintendo President Shuntaro Furukawa.
