The game's campaign kicks off at the onset of the Hundred Years’ War in 1337, guiding players through pivotal historical moments with a host of new features. Among the highlights revealed today is a new, expansive map that employs accurate map projection and encompasses hundreds of distinct societies. A novel population-based system, along with enhanced production and trade systems, will allow players to build farms, plantations, and factories, or engage in trade with neighboring regions.
