Marvel Contest of Champions’ Murderworld event brings thrilling new content! Running until August 7th, this update includes the X-Magica Showcase, the Spring of Sorrow Gauntlet, bug fixes, and balance adjustments.

Murderworld: Arcade's Deadly Amusement Park

Arcade, the master of twisted theme parks, has arrived in The Contest. His Murderworlds are designed for both entertainment and annihilation. Players must outsmart Arcade's deadly games, perhaps even teaming up to defeat him.

New Champions: Patriot and The Leader

The Raft, the Battlerealm's maximum-security prison, is in lockdown due to gamma radiation. This leads the Summoner to encounter Patriot, who's in serious trouble. Meanwhile, The Leader uses his gamma-enhanced intellect to mind-control friends and foes alike.

Patriot (Eli Bradley), grandson of a Super Soldier, co-founded the Young Avengers. He joins the game on July 18th.

The Leader (Samuel Sterns), a former chemical plant worker, became a super-genius after a gamma explosion. Instead of using his intellect for good, he chose villainy, becoming a formidable foe for the Hulk. He enters the fray on August 1st.
