Shift Up, the developer behind Stellar Blade, hints at a potential PC port. While the action-adventure title launched as a PS5 exclusive due to its Sony partnership, recent statements suggest a PC release is under consideration.
Stellar Blade's success, including topping US sales charts in April and achieving an 82 average OpenCritic score, fuels this possibility. During an IPO press conference, CEO Kim Hyung-Tae stated that a PC port is being "considered," though contractual obligations with Sony prevent immediate confirmation. CFO Jae-woo Ahn further emphasized the growing PC market dominance for AAA titles, suggesting a PC port could significantly boost the IP's value.
A PC port appears increasingly likely. Shift Up's previous financial report mentioned exploring both a sequel and a PC release for Stellar Blade. Given Sony's growing trend of bringing its exclusives to PC (as seen with the upcoming God of War: Ragnarok port), a Stellar Blade PC version seems plausible.
