This follows comments from director Kazuhisa Wada about future Persona installments. While no official Persona 6 announcement exists, these job listings strongly suggest Atlus is actively developing the next mainline game.

The absence of a new mainline Persona game since Persona 5's 2017 release (nearly eight years ago) has led to considerable fan speculation. Numerous spin-offs and remasters have kept the franchise alive, but the demand for a new core entry is high. Rumors dating back to 2019 hinted at simultaneous development of Persona 6 alongside other projects, and the success of Persona 3 Reload (selling over one million copies quickly) further bolsters the franchise's momentum.

A 2025 or 2026 release window for Persona 6 has been speculated, though unconfirmed. However, given the recent job postings, an official announcement seems imminent.
