This time, instead of encouraging more steps, the focus shifts to planting more flowers. If you're a fan of Niantic's augmented reality and location-based gaming, you won't want to miss out on this new event.

When Is the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk?

The special Earth Day-themed Official Party Walk in Pikmin Bloom runs from April 22nd to April 30th. During this period, the game shifts its focus from counting steps to tracking the number of flowers you plant. Every flower you contribute adds to the global total, perfectly aligning with the Earth Day theme of fostering more greenery and purpose.

Pikmin Bloom rewards your efforts in a delightful way. Depending on the total number of flowers planted globally during the event, players can unlock unique weather-themed Decor Pikmin via Huge Seedlings. Here's what you can achieve: if the collective effort reaches 500 million flowers, everyone participating will receive a Huge Seedling that grows into a Leaf Hat Decor Pikmin. Hit 1 billion flowers, and you'll unlock a Snow Decor Pikmin.

Should the community's dedication push the total to 1.5 billion flowers, a special Huge Seedling for a Present Sticker (Gold) Decor Pikmin becomes available, exclusively for White Pikmin.

To ensure your flowers contribute to the event's goal, you must join the Pikmin Bloom Party Walk. Make sure your app is updated to version 117 and that you're properly signed up. If you haven't yet, you can download the game from the Google Play Store.

To ease the flower planting mission, everyone participating will receive a promo code. Remember, all types of flowers count towards the goal, so feel free to plant any kind you like. Just get out there and start blooming!
