The original Pirates Outlaws charmed players with its stylish, swashbuckling roguelike deckbuilding gameplay when the genre was still relatively new. Now, the sequel is set to sail into Q3 of this year!

This sequel, aptly dubbed a "seaquel," returns you to the adventurous waters of New Elysia for another thrilling journey across the high seas. Start your voyage by selecting a character, choosing a class ability, and customizing your starting deck!

In Pirates Outlaws 2, players have the freedom to choose from multiple characters, each with seven unique class options. You can tailor your deck to your strategy and even recruit an animal companion to enhance the depth of your battles. The game introduces enhanced turn-based combat and a new card evolution tree, providing a vast arsenal of tools to conquer the seas!

Run out the gunsPirates Outlaws 2 promises a significantly expanded experience, allowing you to explore the map freely and experiment with countless combinations of cards and characters. For those on PC, an upcoming Steam demo offers the first opportunity to get your hands on the game!

My only concern stems from the animations in the reveal trailer, which seemed somewhat static. While fully animating these illustrations can be challenging, I hope the final release will feature more dynamic effects when it launches on mobile later this year.
