SavySoda has officially launched Pixel Starships 2 in early access today on mobile and PC. It’s the sequel to their beloved starship management MMORPG, which first launched in May 2023 after being in early access since May 2020.

Building on the original, this new release features an upgraded visual engine with pixel-art characters and 3D ships. Classic systems have been reimagined with fresh, innovative features.

The game expands on its predecessor’s foundation, offering higher ship-building limits, deeper customization, and a stronger emphasis on personal player narratives.

A new single-player storyline unfolds across multiple star systems. Alongside it, you can align with factions, forge alliances, and engage in interstellar battles as you carve out your legacy in the galaxy.

The early access version refines gameplay balance and integrates feedback from the demo. Pixel Starships 2 introduces two new ship tiers and a suite of new weapons tailored to diverse playstyles.

Training and managing your crew is essential. Combat is designed as a real-time tactical experience, letting you target specific systems on enemy vessels while competing against players worldwide or AI opponents.

Exploration has been greatly expanded, featuring procedurally generated galaxies filled with planets, alien encounters, and hidden treasures. Missions range from simple rescues to complex pirate engagements.

Beyond solo play, alliances enable cooperative strategies—players can share resources, complete missions together, and participate in large-scale alliance wars.
