Pokémon TCG Pocket butters up players with free trade tokens as they work on improving feature
Pokémon TCG Pocket's trading feature launch has been underwhelming, despite high player demand. To compensate, developers are giving away 1,000 Trade Tokens via the in-game Gifts menu while they rework the trading system. This follows player complaints about trading restrictions, such as rarity limitations and the need for Trade Tokens—a currency required for card swaps. Reworking Trading
The initial design choices regarding trading seem questionable. A completely open system or no trading at all might have avoided the current controversy. While botting and exploitation are valid concerns, stricter limitations likely wouldn't have deterred determined players.
