Max Rod can dramatically alter the course of a battle. Imagine recovering Tyranitar ex and its four energy cards after a knockout, then rebuilding it from the bench. It's one of the most impactful Ace Specs cards we've seen.

While Tyranitar ex's Grind attack seems promising at first glance, its status as a second-stage evolution requiring at least three energy cards to be effective makes it less appealing. Despite my love for Tyranitar, this ex-card falls short.

Dragapult ex SAR 165/131 stands out with its captivating artwork, and I'm eager to build a deck around Phantom Dive. With a two-energy cost for a combined 260 damage, 60 of which can be spread across the opponent's bench, it's an impressive move. Keep an eye on this card as its value may rise due to its desirability for deck-building.

Roaring Moon ex SIR 162/131

Roaring Moon ex SIR is another heavy hitter with stunning artwork. Though it requires a triple energy spend for its attacks, this basic Pokémon card could be the decisive factor in a close battle. Building a deck around Roaring Moon ex with Stadium cards and support sounds like an exciting challenge.

Umbreon ex SIR 161/131

At over $1200, Umbreon ex SIR is unlikely to see play in decks, but its powerful moveset is tempting. Like Roaring Moon ex, it has the potential to turn the tide of a Pokémon TCG battle at the last moment. While it requires three different energy types, constructing an Eeveelution deck around Umbreon ex could be fun.

So, is Prismatic Evolutions worth the hype? Absolutely. It offers a plethora of incredible cards for collectors and numerous playable options for competitive players. However, be prepared to wait for stock to become available. Eeveelution-based sets will always be popular, but the odds of pulling an Eeveelution SIR are slim at 1 in 900 booster packs.

The set also introduces God packs and Master Ball cards, which are thrilling additions. The chance of pulling every SIR in one booster pack is slim, so be ready to open many packs and boxes.
