Pokémon Go Announces January 2025 Community Day: Sprigatito Takes Center Stage!

Get ready, Pokémon Go Trainers! The date for the first Community Day of 2025 has been announced. Mark your calendars for January 5th, as Sprigatito, the Grass Cat Pokémon, will be the star of the show.

From 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time, Sprigatito will appear much more frequently in the wild. This is your prime opportunity to catch plenty of these adorable Pokémon. Evolving your Sprigatito into Floragato and then Meowscarada during the event (or within the five-hour post-event window) will grant it the powerful Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant. It will also permanently learn the Charged Attack, Flower Trick, making it a valuable asset to your team.

This Community Day event is packed with exciting bonuses:

• Triple Stardust and Double Candy: Catching Pokémon yields increased rewards!
• Double Candy XL Chance (Level 31+): Trainers level 31 and above have a significantly higher chance of obtaining Candy XL.
• Extended Lure Modules and Incense: These will last for a generous three hours.
