Get Ready for Dynamax Pokémon in Pokémon GO's Max Out Season!

Pokémon GO is introducing Dynamax Pokémon as part of its upcoming Max Out season! This exciting addition will bring a new level of gameplay to the popular mobile game. Prepare for a season packed with events and rewards.

Max Out Season: September 10th - September 15th

The Max Out season officially kicks off on September 10th at 10:00 a.m. local time and concludes on September 15th at 8:00 p.m. local time.

Dynamax Pokémon Debut:

The season's launch will see the arrival of Dynamax versions of several popular Pokémon in 1-star Max Battles:

• Bulbasaur
• Charmander
• Squirtle
• Skwovet
• Wooloo

Trainers can battle and capture these Dynamax Pokémon, including their evolved forms. Shiny variants will also be available!

In-Game Events and Rewards:

Expect special Field Research tasks, PokéStop Showcases offering event-themed rewards, and a new Seasonal Special Research story focusing on Max Battles. This Special Research, offering Max Particles, a new avatar item, and more, will be available from September 3rd at 10:00 a.m. local time to December 3rd, 2024, at 9:59 a.m. local time.

Max Particle Pack Bundle:

A special Max Particle Pack Bundle (4,800 Max Particles) will be available for $7.99 on the official Pokémon GO web store starting September 8th at 6:00 p.m. PDT.

Future Updates:

Rumors suggest the arrival of Power Spots next month, serving as key locations for Max Battles and Max Particle collection. While unconfirmed by Niantic, this addition would significantly enhance the Dynamax experience.

Mega Evolution and Gigantamax Potential:

Pokémon GO senior producer John Funtanilla hinted that some Dynamax-capable Pokémon might also be able to Mega Evolve. However, information regarding Gigantamax Pokémon remains scarce, despite its tease at this year's Pokémon Worlds. Niantic promises further details on Dynamax battles soon.
