Pokémon GO Fest 2025: Dates, Locations, and More!

Niantic has unveiled the exciting details for Pokémon GO Fest 2025, along with two additional January events. Let's dive into the upcoming festivities!

Pokémon GO Fest 2025: A Global Celebration

The Pokémon GO Fest 2025 will be a three-day extravaganza held across three global cities:

• Osaka, Japan: May 29th - June 1st
• Jersey City, New Jersey, USA: June 6th - June 8th
• Paris, France: June 13th - June 15th

Further details will be released in March 2025. Remember, event details are subject to change, but we'll keep you updated.

This annual event offers exclusive in-game items, gameplay enhancements, and bonuses. In-person events provide unique experiences and city-specific features. Tickets are required for participation.

Expect rare Pokémon encounters, increased Shiny rates, exclusive merchandise, themed sets, community hubs, and team lounges (for in-person attendees). While specifics are still under wraps, expect a similar format to previous years' events.

Two More Pokémon GO Events in January

Beyond Pokémon GO Fest, Niantic announced two additional events for January 2025:

Fashion Week: Taken Over

• Date: January 15th, 2025, 12:00 pm - January 19th, 2025, 8:00 pm (local time)
• Rescue Shadow Palkia from Team GO Rocket and Giovanni.
• Debut of Shroodle and Grafaiai (hatching from 12 km Eggs).
• Other Shadow Pokémon appearances (Snivy, Tepig, etc.).
• Chance to encounter a fashionably dressed Croagunk.

Shadow Raid Day: Shadow Ho-Oh

• Date: January 19th, 2025, 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm (local time)
• Five-Star Shadow Raids featuring Shadow Ho-Oh.
• $5 USD ticket grants eight Raid Passes, increased Rare Candy XL chance, 2x Stardust, and 50% more XP from Raids.
• Increased Shiny Ho-Oh encounter rate.
• Chance to teach Ho-Oh its signature move, Sacred Fire (using a Charged TM).
