The Pokémon Company has announced a special collection of merchandise celebrating the 25th anniversary of Pokémon Gold and Silver. The range includes home goods, apparel, and more, launching at Pokémon Center stores across Japan on November 23rd, 2024. International availability is yet to be confirmed.

Pre-orders begin November 21st, 2024 at 10:00 AM JST via Pokémon Center Online and Amazon Japan.

Prices range from ¥495 (approx. $4 USD) to ¥22,000 (approx. $143 USD). Highlights include:

  • Sukajan jackets (¥22,000) featuring Ho-Oh and Lugia designs.
  • Day bags (¥12,100).
  • 2-piece plate sets (¥1,650).
  • A wide selection of stationery and hand towels.

Originally released in 1999 for the Game Boy Color, Pokémon Gold and Silver revolutionized the Pokémon world with innovative features, including an in-game clock affecting Pokémon appearances and events. The games introduced 100 new Pokémon (Gen 2), such as Pichu, Cleffa, Hoothoot, Chikorita, Umbreon, Ho-Oh, and Lugia. A 10th-anniversary remake, Pokémon HeartGold and SoulSilver, was released for the Nintendo DS in 2009.
