Get ready, Pokémon TCG Pocket players! Two highly anticipated features are finally arriving: trading and the Space-Time Smackdown expansion.
Pokémon TCG Pocket: Space-Time Smackdown and Trading Arrival
Trading is launching on January 29th, 2025, followed by the Space-Time Smackdown expansion on January 30th! This update also introduces stylish new binder and display board covers featuring Dialga, Palkia, and Darkrai.
The long-awaited trading feature requires two new items: trade hourglasses and trade tokens. Currently, only cards from the Genetic Apex and Mythical Island expansions (rarity levels 1-4 and ★1) are tradeable, with more to come in future updates.
Space-Time Smackdown focuses on the Sinnoh region, bringing two new booster packs featuring the legendary Pokémon Dialga and Palkia, along with fresh card artwork. Lucario, and the beloved Sinnoh starters—Turtwig, Chimchar, and Piplup—also join the roster. For a complete overview of the update, watch the video below:
