Initially unveiled during the February 2024 Pokémon Day celebrations, Pokémon Legends: Z-A is anticipated as a successor to the exploration-focused Pokémon Legends: Arceus (2022). Unlike previous entries, Arceus prioritized open-world exploration and Pokémon catching over traditional gym battles and the Pokémon League. Since its announcement, official information on Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been scarce.
