Power Slap sees Rollic taking on the concussion-inducing sport with WWE personalities

Jan 09,25

Rollic's Power Slap mobile game delivers the controversial "sport" of competitive slapping to iOS and Android. The game features a roster of WWE superstars, including Rey Mysterio, Braun Strowman, and others.

Power Slap, a real-life pseudo-sport involving repeated face slaps until incapacitation, has found its mobile counterpart. While the real-life version is questionable, the game offers a (hopefully) safer way to experience the unique competition. The game's development is notable given UFC president Dana White's ownership of Power Slap and the recent merger of WWE and UFC into TKO Holdings. This collaboration explains the inclusion of prominent WWE wrestlers.

Players can virtually slap their way to victory with WWE champions like Rey Mysterio, Omos, Braun Strowman, and Seth "Freaking" Rollins. The full release promises additional content, including side-quests like PlinK.O, Slap’n Roll, and Daily Tournaments.

Rollic aims to make this mobile adaptation a success, though the appeal of featuring WWE wrestlers remains to be seen. For a different gaming experience, consider checking out our review of Eldrum: Black Dust, a text-adventure set in a dark fantasy desert.
