"Players will step into the shoes of the world's favorite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story," the developer announced, highlighting the game's unique storyline. In an interview with IGN back in October, IO Interactive's Head, Hakan Abrak, shared insights into the development of this brand-new origin story for the iconic spy. "What's exciting about that project is that we actually got to do an original story. So it's not a gamification of a movie," he explained, emphasizing the originality of the project.

Abrak also expressed his enthusiasm for the project, stating, "It's completely beginning and becoming a story, hopefully for a big trilogy out there in the future. And equally important and exciting, it's a new Bond. It's a Bond we built from the ground up for gamers.
