Sony recently announced policy adjustments. While PSN tethering for PC remains, certain relaxations are in place. These games will not require mandatory PSN tethering:

PSN tethering still offers incentives:

• Marvel's Spider-Man 2: Early access to the "2099" suit for Peter Parker and Miles Morales.
• God of War Ragnarök: Early access to the Black Bear armor set, the "Lost Things" chest, and resource packs.
• The Last of Us Part II Remastered: Bonus points for unlocking features.
• Horizon Zero Dawn Remastered: The Nora Valiant costume.

In November investor calls, COO Hiroki Totoki acknowledged the controversy surrounding PSN connection requirements, emphasizing their importance for security and order.
