On the final day of the Six Invitational, Ubisoft unveiled major updates for Rainbow Six Siege, including the introduction of Rauora, a new attack operator from New Zealand.

Rauora’s standout gadget is the DOM launcher, which deploys a bulletproof shield—vulnerable only to explosives—in doorways. The shield features a trigger mechanism accessible to both teams, but with a key difference: attackers activate it in one second, while defenders face a three-second delay. This timing could prove decisive when the defuser is planted.

Rauora brings the Reaper MK2 to Rainbow Six Siege, a fully automatic pistol equipped with a red dot sight and an extended magazine. Her primary weapon options include the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.

Rauora will hit the test servers next week, with her live game debut expected shortly after.
