"Reverse: 1999 x Assassin’s Creed: First Global Collab with Ezio"
In an exciting development for fans of both series, Bluepoch Games has unveiled further details about the much-anticipated crossover between Reverse: 1999 and Assassin’s Creed. This collaboration, announced back in January, promises to bring the iconic Ezio Auditore da Firenze into the world of Reverse: 1999 as a playable character. In partnership with Ubisoft, the event will celebrate two fan-favorite entries in the Assassin's Creed franchise: Assassin’s Creed II and Odyssey. A teaser released in January hinted at the crossover, showing protagonist Vertin navigating a rainy street with the glowing Assassin's Creed logo looming in the background.
Get Ready to Welcome Ezio from Assassin’s Creed into Reverse: 1999!
Mark your calendars for August 2025, as the crossover will launch on Android, iOS, and PC. Beyond Ezio, fans have much to look forward to in this exciting collaboration between Reverse: 1999 and Assassin’s Creed.
The event is structured into two distinct phases, each offering its unique set of Assassin’s Creed-themed narratives and events. Phase I transports players to Renaissance Florence, where Vertin and her team will navigate the historic cityscape, piecing together cryptic clues amidst the backdrop of 15th-century Italy.
Phase II takes a leap into the ancient world of Greece, specifically the setting of Assassin’s Creed Odyssey. Players familiar with the game will recognize the settings and events that Vertin and her crew will encounter during this phase.
Take a look at the thrilling crossover trailer below:
It’s a Special Crossover
This crossover marks a significant milestone for Reverse: 1999, as it will be the first time that all servers worldwide will be synchronized, ensuring that players everywhere can access the event content simultaneously.
Reverse: 1999 is a time-traveling RPG that blends modern and retro aesthetics. Players assume the role of Vertin, the Timekeeper, who is immune to a mysterious phenomenon called The Storm. Following the storms, entire eras vanish, prompting Vertin and her partner Sonetto to journey through different time periods to rescue other arcanists affected by these temporal shifts.
