Riddler Barley is a roaming NPC you might meet in the *Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2* open world. Each encounter presents a riddle; answer correctly, and you'll earn groschen or skill experience. Some riddles are tricky, so here are the solutions:

Once upon a time there was a foolish farmer. He had no family or stable boys, so he spoke to his animals. Whenever he earned groschen, he shared them according to his rules: each hen received five groschen, each bee fifteen, and the spider twenty. How much did the cat receive?	10 groschen.
Jaromir, a coachman from Raborsch, set off for Kuttenberg with an empty coach. Three lads boarded in Bohunowitz. In Bojischt, one boy left, replaced by a washerwoman. In Horschan, the washerwoman left, and a pedlar and his daughter boarded. In Pschitoky, the remaining lads and the pedlar's daughter left, replaced by two fishermen. That evening in Kuttenberg, they celebrated with Jaromir. What was the coachman's name?	Jaromir.
A bailiff hires twelve men. Six wear body armour, four wear helmets, and three wear both. How many men have neither helmet nor armour?	Five.

From the second riddle onward, Barley will challenge you to a wager (starting at 100 groschen, increasing to 150 for riddles three and four). Win, and choose between his wager or skill experience. Depending on Henry's progress, skill experience might be more valuable than the groschen, especially if you're winning dice games.

The riddles are deceptively simple. The second involves animal legs, the third is a memory test, and the fourth requires basic arithmetic.

Riddler Barley encounters are random. You might find him while fast traveling or exploring the open world. Look for an NPC seeking interaction; talk to him to begin the riddle.
