RuneScape Unveils Exciting 2024-2025 Roadmap!

Jagex has just revealed a thrilling roadmap for RuneScape, outlining a plethora of new content planned for both 2024 and 2025. The recently released "RuneScape Ahead" video details upcoming additions, so let's take a look!

What's Coming?

First up: Group Ironman mode! Team up with up to four friends for a collaborative RuneScape experience, completely independent of external assistance. Launching later this year, this mode promises a fresh challenge.

Autumn brings "The Gate of Elidinis," a challenging new skilling boss encounter. Players will ascend the Sanctum of Rebirth to discover a hidden shrine dedicated to the enigmatic goddess Elidinis – a key part of an upcoming major story quest.

The roadmap highlights a significant influx of story quests. Winter sees the return of beloved storylines, taking players back to the desert for a showdown with Amascut. This leads to a brand-new end-game boss fight against Amascut, the Devourer, following the completion of the Desert Finale quests.

Over 110 skilling updates are also planned! This year features Woodcutting & Fletching updates, introducing a new skill tree and weapons. RuneCrafting and Crafting level 110 updates are slated for 2025.

The "Harvest Hollow" seasonal event debuts later this year, complete with a new quest, spooky rewards, and seasonal activities. The popular "Christmas Village" event will also return towards the end of the year, offering new quests, festive fun, and Christmas rewards.

Excited for RuneScape's Future?

A major new area expansion is scheduled for late 2025. Many player-requested features are also on the way, including new combat achievements, a fourth Necromancy conjure ability, and a new Slayer monster.
