Indie studio Slothwerks unveils the latest chapter in the Meteorfall saga with a new card-based battler. Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble is now open for pre-registration on Android, marking the third installment following Meteorfall (2017) and Meteorfall: Krumit’s Tale (2019). The game is slated for release next month.

What’s the Setting?

This roguelike deckbuilder delivers fast-paced matches where strategy trumps convention. Players deploy cards to captivate a thrill-seeking audience, controlling a trio of heroes selected from eight unique characters, each with a distinct deck.

With over 200 cards, the game offers mid-run customization through layered upgrades. Wild Cards shake up traditional gameplay, allowing players to execute daring moves in battle to gain powerful buffs.

Between skirmishes, players retreat to Bramble Town, facing critical decisions: enhance your deck, train your squad, or explore the town’s eccentric charm.

Initially revealed as Bramble Royale, the game’s name sparked confusion with battle royale genres. To clarify, Slothwerks rebranded it Meteorfall: Rustbowl Rumble, aligning it with the series’ quirky legacy.
