SaGa-Inspired DLC and Cross-Save Update Released for Vampire Survivors
Vampire Survivors has just released a thrilling free DLC named Emerald Diorama, a unique crossover with Square Enix's fantasy RPG series, SaGa. This marks the game's most significant update to date, bringing JRPG vibes to the beloved survivor game.
Emerald Diorama Brings JRPG Vibes to Vampire Survivors
The Emerald Diorama DLC introduces an exciting new stage designed as a mini world map, offering a world-hopping experience. Players can explore this new environment and encounter over a dozen new characters, including puppeteers and singers of cursed songs, adding a fresh layer of depth to the gameplay.
In addition to new characters, the DLC features more than 16 new weapons and introduces the innovative Glimmer system. This system allows players to randomly pick up new skills during their runs, enhancing the strategic aspect of the game. The update also enriches the auditory experience with nine new music tracks.
To unlock the Emerald Diorama, players need to visit Moongolow and interact with a new merchant to purchase the Emerald Disk for 50,000 gold. From there, you can unlock the content incrementally. The DLC also introduces character parties, enabling you to form your own mini squad, enhancing the social aspect of the game.
Furthermore, the DLC includes two new Adventures, which are mini-campaigns with six chapters each. "To End an Ice Age" is designed for the base game, while "Tides of the Foscari" adds more content to the new DLC, providing players with even more challenges and rewards.
Alongside the DLC, There’s Another Free Update
Alongside the Emerald Diorama, the base game has received another free update called The Coop, which introduces a new chicken-themed character named Gazebo, a new weapon, and a relic that accelerates the game's speed. Players can also unlock various achievements and access Darkana. Collecting 500 lifetime floor chickens unlocks the full potential of The Coop update.
A useful tip for playing The Coop: refrain from killing anything for the first minute to unlock the Gaze of Gaea. Evolving it with Parm Aegis further unlocks Gazebo, enhancing your gameplay experience.
Vampire Survivors, along with the free DLC Emerald Diorama and the free update The Coop, is available for download on the Google Play Store. The update also introduces cross-platform save functionality, allowing you to save your progress across PC, Xbox, Android, and iOS devices.
