Unlocking Astro Bot's Lost Galaxy: A Guide to Finding All 10 Hidden Portals

Astro Bot Rescue Mission offers players dozens of explorable worlds, but a hidden tenth world, the Lost Galaxy, requires finding ten secret portals scattered throughout the game. This guide details the location of each portal and how to access them. Look for a swirling icon on the level select screen to identify worlds containing a hidden portal.

Portal #1: Az-Tech Trail

Mid-level, locate a dark room with four lit torches surrounding a wall. Extinguish all torches using the Twin-Frog Gloves to reveal the portal.

Portal #2: Creamy Canyon

Early in the level, past a bouncing ladybug, grab the charging pig. Swing it towards the icy statue, destroying it. Backtrack, jump over the ladybug, and perform a charged spin attack to access the portal room.

Portal #3: Go-Go Archipelago

After defeating Captain Pincher, locate a glowing spot near his embedded claw. Perform a charged spin attack to unearth a hidden room containing the portal.

Portal #4: Downsize Surprise

Near the level's end, find a bubble-blowing frog. Use the controller to inflate bubbles, shrink, and ride a bubble to a higher branch. Jump to the opposite branch to find the portal.

Portal #5: Free Big Brother!

At the level's start, turn around and lure the electric enemy to electrocute the platforms, revealing a hidden wall and the portal.

Portal #6: Bathhouse Battle

Find the house with a flaming chimney. After absorbing water, climb to the roof, extinguish the flames, and descend the chimney to find the portal.

Portal #7: Hieiroglitch Pyramid

At the level's end, locate a bounce pad near falling jewels. This leads to a trap; find two hidden switches to open the path to the portal.

Portal #8: Balloon Breeze

This requires the pufferfish power-up. Backtrack to an early area with a bouncing ladybug. Use the ladybug to reach a floating platform, activate the pufferfish, and use Astro's hover to reach the bamboo. Cut the bamboo and activate the portal by circling it.

Portal #9: Djinny of the Lamp

After defeating Djinny, climb the ruins, using Astro's hover ability to find invisible platforms. Ride the unfurled rug to the final platform and the portal.

Portal #10: Frozen Meal

Before the boss fight, roll a snowball into a large ball and use it as a platform to reach the cliff edge and the final portal.
