Among the most memorable female fighters in gaming history, three names immediately spring to mind: Nina Williams, Chun-Li, and Mai Shiranui. While we witnessed a clash between Nina and Chun-Li in Street Fighter x Tekken, a rematch isn't on the immediate horizon.
However, Mai Shiranui's arrival as a guest character in Street Fighter 6 is a different story. It's no accident that her gameplay trailer showcases a showdown against Chun-Li.
Her signature moves are all present, her Super looks spectacular, and Mai is poised to become a highly popular addition to Street Fighter 6's roster. Sadly, fans will need to exercise patience, as Capcom has set the release date for February 5th, meaning a three-week wait.
