Shroodle Acquisition Guide in Pokemon GO

Apr 23,25

The new year in *Pokemon GO* has been exciting for trainers with a range of new Pokemon to catch. Following the addition of Fidough, Shroodle, the Toxic Mouse Pokemon, is set to join the game. However, like many recent Pokemon additions, acquiring Shroodle won't be as simple as finding it in the wild.

When Did Shroodle Come to Pokemon GO?

Shroodle made its debut in *Pokemon GO* on January 15, 2025, during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event. Originally introduced in *Pokemon Scarlet & Violet*, Shroodle is a fresh face in the Pokemon universe. Post-event, trainers will have ongoing opportunities to add Shroodle to their collections.

Can Shroodle Be Shiny?

At its launch in *Pokemon GO*, Shroodle will not have a Shiny variant available. Fans can anticipate the Shiny Shroodle to be introduced in future events, possibly those focused on Poison-type Pokemon or tied to Team GO Rocket activities.

How To Get Shroodle in Pokemon GO

New Pokemon such as Shroodle often aren't immediately available as wild spawns. To obtain Shroodle, trainers will need to hatch it from 12KM eggs. Starting from January 15 at 12 AM local time, 12KM eggs have the potential to hatch into Shroodle, with increased chances during the Fashion Week: Taken Over event, and it will remain part of the 12KM egg pool thereafter.

How To Get 12K Eggs

Since Shroodle is exclusive to 12KM eggs, it's important to know how to obtain them. These eggs are among the rarest in *Pokemon GO* and can only be acquired by defeating Team GO Rocket Leaders or Giovanni. The Taken Over event is an ideal time to gather 12KM eggs, as Team GO Rocket will be more active and Rocket Radars easier to obtain. However, you can challenge and defeat Team GO Rocket Grunts at any time to battle Sierra, Arlo, and Cliff, earning a 12KM egg if you have space in your inventory.

How To Get Grafaiai in Pokemon GO

Grafaiai, Shroodle's evolution, also debuted in *Pokemon GO* on January 15. Unlike Shroodle, Grafaiai does not hatch from eggs or appear in the wild. To obtain Grafaiai, trainers must evolve a Shroodle using 50 Shroodle Candies. This means you'll need to hatch multiple Shroodles or set Shroodle as your buddy to accumulate the necessary candies for the evolution.

*Pokemon GO is available to play now*.
