How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Battlefield 6 Early Access
At long last, EA has unveiled Battlefield Labs and offered a first glimpse of the next Battlefield game. To help shape the franchise's future, you can sign up for Battlefield Labs and gain early access to Battlefield 6. Here's how to get involved.
What is Battlefield Labs?

EA's Battlefield Labs program invites community members to directly influence the development of the next Battlefield title. Selected fans gain exclusive access to early, remote playtests, providing invaluable feedback to the developers at EA's Battlefield Studios. Think of it as a direct line to the war room!
Initially, a few thousand players in Europe and North America will participate, with plans to expand globally to tens of thousands in the future. Battlefield Labs will be available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
Is Battlefield Labs Different Than a Beta?
While EA has previously utilized beta testing, Battlefield Labs operates differently. Participants will experience work-in-progress content, encountering more bugs, rough edges, and technical issues than in a typical beta. This is intentional; EA seeks candid feedback on combat, map flow, balance, and more to shape the game's direction. Importantly, participants will be bound by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and cannot publicly share information.
How to Sign Up for Battlefield Labs and Play Battlefield 6 Early
Visit the Battlefield Labs webpage to learn more and register. You'll need to log in or create an EA account, link it to your preferred platform, and then sign in. Be aware that you might encounter a queue; if so, regularly check the tab, as you only have 15 minutes to access the website once your turn arrives.
After accessing the sign-up, complete the required information and register your email address. Keep an eye on your inbox for updates from the official Battlefield Labs newsletter, including playtest invitations if you're selected.
EA has announced the next Battlefield game will launch in FY26, meaning we can expect Battlefield 6 sometime before April 1, 2026.
