Fans of the adult animated sitcom Solar Opposites will see the series conclude with its upcoming sixth season, as Hulu confirmed today. The final season is set to premiere sometime in the last quarter of 2025. The announcement in mid-2024 that the show was renewed for a sixth season did not initially hint that it would be the last.

Since debuting in 2020, Solar Opposites has followed the quirky adventures of an alien family stranded on Earth after escaping their planet's destruction. The show, created by Star Trek: Lower Decks creator Mike McMahan and Rick & Morty co-creator Justin Roiland, faced a significant change when Roiland was removed from the project in 2023 following charges of domestic violence. These charges were subsequently dropped, but Roiland did not return to the series.

English actor Dan Stevens seamlessly stepped in to take over the lead voice role from Roiland, ensuring the show's continuity and quality.
