Squad Busters is ditching win streaks! This major update, effective December 16th, removes the consecutive win system. The developers cite player pressure and frustration as the reason for this change, stating the system wasn't fostering a positive player experience.

Why the Change? When Does It Happen?

The win streak system, while rewarding, ultimately added unnecessary pressure for many players. To address this, Squad Busters is removing the feature entirely starting December 16th. Your highest win streak will remain on your profile as a commemorative achievement.

Players who reached certain win streak milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes as compensation. Unfortunately, coins spent on win streaks will not be refunded to maintain game balance between free and paid players.

Mixed Reactions and the Cyber Squad Season

The community is divided on this update. While some welcome the reduced emphasis on pay-to-win mechanics, others express disappointment with the compensation.
