Journalist stashes in Stalker 2 are scattered across various in-game regions, some containing multiple caches. One such stash, located within the car maze in the Garbage region, holds valuable armor. This guide details how to easily access this hard-to-reach location.

How to Locate the Garbage Journalist Cache in the Maze

To find this stash, travel northwest from the Slag Heap towards the car maze. While multiple entrances exist, utilize the main entrance shown on the map above for optimal access.

Once inside, proceed to the right until you encounter a wrecked bus on its side. Look to your left; you'll see another bus with a blue exterior. The stash is located atop this bus. Climb onto the bus, then dismount on the opposite side to retrieve the Tourist Suit Body Armor from the cache.

Is the Tourist Suit Armor Worthwhile?

The Tourist Suit is a highly effective armor piece for the early to mid-game in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. It provides substantial protection against thermal, electrical, and chemical hazards. Its key strengths are its exceptional radiation and physical damage resistance, allowing you to endure higher radiation levels and various forms of damage.

Beyond enhanced defense, it boosts stamina regeneration by 5%. Given the extensive exploration in Stalker 2, improved stamina and regeneration are invaluable for extended travel.
