Navigating the Garbage Zone in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl

After leaving the Lesser Zone, your journey continues into the sprawling Garbage area. Due to the distance from your starting base, encountering traders in this region will take some time.

Initially, quest markers won't directly guide you to the Slag Heap hub. Progressing the main storyline is necessary; completing the "Answers Come at a Price" quest unlocks this location. This involves visiting the Detention Center and the Laboratory before meeting Scar. However, you can explore the Slag Heap, located north of the laboratory, earlier if desired.

The Slag Heap features two key traders:

Boozer: Situated at the entrance, Boozer runs the bar, offering food and drinks while accepting various items for sale. He's hard to miss.
Huron: Found by heading left and entering the open door on your right, Huron specializes in weapons and equipment. His room also serves as your stash, and interacting with him initiates a side quest.

While not a trader, a Tech resides at the back of the left corridor in the Slag Heap. You'll encounter him while progressing the main quest by speaking with Diode.
